Thanks for the Welcome.
I have to say that currently I am pleased that sunflowers releases Patches for "old" games.
1. Knights of Honor
2. Anno 1503

I Hope they also learned that they should try to "fix" a game as good as possible before abandoning it. At least it seems they didn't have abandoned KOH, and I hope they don't even think to do so.

probably an important question.

Frujin, how is it going with the milestone? IHow far are you from finninshing it?

It seems that with no support the Editor can hardly be usefull for any senseful work

I agree completely, we already knew about the buggy editor. Why talk about it without some real support!??

Also we need specifics on this supposed patch, a year? 3 months? Come on, this is really rediculous. Fact is the patch should have been made a long time ago so its no treat, its owed to the public that paid money for this game.

I see the unrest come up again - and dissatisfaction. Just have some patience, for nothing else will help anything.

Of course that dissatisfaction.

Frujin told us about the editor that he will provide some help, but there was no help since official release of the editor and it - after all - appeared to be almost useless.

So?

And I just ask for some information. I believe that they should generaly know how long will they need to work on the milestone.
If it will last a month, a year, 2 weeks, 3 months or...

they should have some idea about the time, don't they? that's all

I see that there is some revival around the game, Paradox forum was revived too with several new aars, the game is becoming popular again, so it's time to ask how is it going with the patch

I think we should put more pressure on sunflowers again in some of the other forums perhaps. Moderator, have you heard anything else? I would ask that you relay to them that its about time they gave us a legitimate, official responce. No more vagueness about contracts and we need a real timeline to know if its even worth waiting.

Keep in mind, this patch is late. It should have released 2 months following the launch of sales in the U.S., bu standards of other companies. Look at Civ 3 and 4 or the AOE games! Multiple patches and support resolving nearly all problems shortly after release!

I think we should put more pressure on sunflowers again in some of the other forums perhaps.Firstly, I don't think so. Development doesn't happen from this month to next month. Things take time.
Secondly, remember that offtopic posts will be removed as they are always in the sunflowers board, regardless of the content.

Offtopic? if we create a thread demanding some more information about the patch, how offtopic is that?

and how offtopic such questions are in "Black Sea Studios and KoH patch status" ??

we ask what is the actual status of the patch, don't we?

what else can we do?

The offtopic comment was pointed towards kevincompton's "threat" of creating posts about Sunflower's patch policy regarding KoH in other forums.

If the subject were in regards to sunflowers patch policy that it is very on topic for whatever game there is.

I hope they will make a statement of what they are planning to make, add or fix.
Not a complete list, but some overall ideas of what they are planning or already working on.

It is coming closer! If everything goes well for BSS, as we all hope, that is ... I will get back to you as soon as I have any (even microscopic) news. :)

Why? I thought it was decided long ago what should the patch include and not...

It's been decided by SF and BSS but we don't know what has been decided...

the list made by Angryminer was made over a year ago and since then many other bugs/gameplay bugs were found so I guess they should take into account also some of new ideas
