I have one question: how will BSS make a patch, if Sunflowers doesn't give a greenlight?

No, it's a question of money. Don't forget that's what's gaming industry is all about. I understand that sunflowers isn't eager to pay money for a game which - in my opinion- hasn't sold very good.

About new patch.... why this game must have a second patch? It doesn't!

You say that because you are a noob(no offence), but as you play it more, it will become easier and easier, until one day you'll look at your opponents like little children, and not worthy opponents. You'll slowly lose your interest in the game, try some mods that make it harder, maybe even try to help yourself with some modding, but in the end you'll change your oppinion, and put the game away, waiting for the patch.

and than we don't mention the bugs, my game crashes often. And the sometimes terrible balance like ( what is a landlord or builder good for ?)

If I'm now mistaking that's what he meant, that you didn't have much experience with the game.

Going back to topic, at least Fruji broke the silent. I was wondering if sunflower says no to patch and maybe it says no to a sequal, how can BSS make a patch or sequal? As far as I understand sunflower holds the copyrights, so bss cant make anything without Sunflower saying ok?

What we need to show to sunflowers is that the community is alive,they won't put money into a game that has been abandoned by the gamers already. SO keep on posting

A noob is someone who is new to a game, it seems you thought it's something else.

uhu, but most people think a noob is someone who is very bad in playing a game. But he didn't meant that.

I think sunflowers is gaining time, until the community is quite dead, so bye bye patch

Sunflower has allways been a pain in the *** for the game. They have never seen the potential of the game.

STOP. the delay has nothing to do with letting die the community.
NOW we have this situation of partial information.

normally any kind of information should have been placed after all talkings, negotiatings and final decisions.

i cannot tell any details. i am really sorry for this and in being in this position.
i can only beg you to be patienced ;(

Sunflowers is developing a new game, ANNO 1701. But you know that! :) I think they won't create a new patch until they finish it....

But SF are only producers of KoH, BSS are the devs. Anyway, if the guys have will and desire, in the worst case they might make an un-official patch (let's call it a "fan-professional patch/mod") without SF's approval. Of course, if the devs have to make an unofficial patch for their own game, this wouldn't speak very good for SF, so... :rolleyes: I said it before: SF, GO is shorter and easier to say than NO GO, so GO!

The game is very stable...there are only few complains like yours, must be your HW/SW. Another patch would be great...i'd be happy to buy a gold version of it (like Anno 1604 gold, Anno 1503 gold...).

Guys, please, stop thinking of who and what is doing wrong. I can assure you that both BSS and SF are respecting the community a lot and we both are doing our best. I know it is taking longer than expected, but please, bear with us ... :)

Hello frujin. We just want a piece of updated infomation of what is going on if there is any progress going concerning the patch? or anything upcoming . So we can rest assured that something atleast is happning. Just a sentence of info would put a smile on our faces.

We have to time to wait. I know it is quite impossible , but can't you publish here some new things about the patch or additions. Not detailed, but a preview , to relieve our hunger :)

i can only agree to frujins words ... there are still things to discuss ... so the delay has a reason, but the details we cannot tell ... the content of a possible patch is based on angryminers work collecting the communities feedback here in the board!
