Look. The forum is getting dead now, since many players are simply bored by weak AI, but BSS has no finances to make patch or add-on. Why?

I still see one simple answer. because of ingnorant EA!

What we need is an intelligent head from community. Someone who is able to improve the AI, to provide an editor and to turn of the intors.

tempest provided a way to unofficial patch Koh for the skipability of the intros

I spoke with Frujin and learned that is mostly impossible to edit KoH's gamerules (like AI). It is possible to do some work with scripting in the *.pak-files but that is just minor work.
An editor would require tremendious amounts of time because the file-formats of KoH are not documented.
The intros can be turned off by shortening them to 1 frame in the *.pak-files. The full duration of all intros together would then be smaller than 1/10th of a second. But that is like removing credits and I wouldn't do that because I respect for the work of BSS and Sunflowers. There is a modified intro.pak file around that shortens the intros to about 2 seconds each, which is short enough. :go:

skipability of intros is a problem for 1 comunity member. stronger AI and no map editor is demanded by many or even most of us

If BSS wants their game alive, help the community in developing editor and improving AI in other way than just by editing .paks (or force EA to publish KoH in USA) if sales in Europe were bad, why not sell the rest in the USA. Yes, it's all just a dream.

So sad to see such fantastic game dying 3 months after release

IMO it would be better for BSS if KoH would live in inofficial versions(with map editor) for 3 years and then to start KoH2(by just some improvements of KoH1) than having KoH1 forgotten before april 2005
