I hope the devs will follow Elewyn's maps and all his work around realms, cause it's really great.

but, Elewyn. Still Styria, No Caranthia ? To let Slovenians have "their own" realm, like every other european nation.

I know that area of "my" Styria includes Caranthia also, but Styria was in my opinion more important and larger. That's why I name it Styria. Slovenians can use it, no matter how it is called..

Btw, devs, any comments to number of realms in regions: western Europe, Central Europe, Eastern, Baltic region, Asia and Africa.??
If you have some "quotes",of course...

Elewyn, gigantic job on the maps and names

Reval - Talinn is same dilema as Mitau-Jelgava in Kurland, but as Kurland is optional in my opinion - I don't mind either way.

Regarding Ukraine province - it could be joined to Kiev province, since it was largery uninhabbited at the time.
However, if it is important for some people to see it - it would do no harm to leave it.

if u are refuring to me Siena then i say that they should have made it all 1 province Kiev, not
Ukraine-Odessa
Krym-Cherson
Kiiv(Kiev)

Because Kiev at that time was very huge like way bigger then Paris and i know this because im from Ukraine so i learnd the real history of Ukraine.

Hi Havoc,
No I was not reffering just to you.
Krym had separate history at the time. It was ruled either by Genoans or Tartars at the time, I think.....

Calm down, mate. I don't want to offend neither you nor Ukrainian (BTW, my favourite nation in Cossacks:) ) realms in the game. I simply wanna say I will try to reestablish Grand Duchy of Lithuania while playing KoH, so, I'll have to turn to Kiev:rolleyes: . I'm sure you'll try to do the same to other directions.:D

So, offering you a glass of Nemiroff:angel:

hmm.

styria was "built" in 1122, mainly based on rather small parts of the duchy carinthia / carantanum. carinthia was "formed" in the 7th/8th century and became a duchy 976.

to make a long story short: there was no styria before 1122.

Well Elewyn great job, but I must say interesting how you've put Slavonia in middle Europe(where it should be), but you've also put Croatia(the central part with Zagreb as capital) in Southern Europe. Not to crtiscise you too much because you done a great job I will just recommend that you move Croatia in Middle Europe because that would be more geographically correct. ;)

Also yes Croats would be a slavic state although it's not that simple as I said. Croats have still a lot of work to do to uncover their real origins. My thesis is that Croats formed from few different people(as the genetic proved it), but yes we speak slavic language. :D

Btw. I will have to do some research and let you know what would be the best choices(because I am not sure you got it right) for the main cities in these realms like Bosnia, Croatia, Dalmatia, Slavonia....also Serbia(although I am sure there was no Serbia as a state or kingdo until some later periods). Either way I will let you know. ;)

Help is welcome (at least by me:D)
I'll change it, if you find something usefull for me (but pleas, without measuring by fingers, feet etc., it's interesting, but not so important when speaking about town/city development:))

To Serbia. I know, how the Serbs and Croats like each other, but there was kingdom of Raschka, which was IMPO ruled by Serbs and name Stepan Nemanja you will probably know also, when he was king of Serbia in 14th cent.

but...
regarding this Frank's post (http://forum.sunflowers.de/showthread.php?s=&postid=16382#post16382) whole this thread seems to be useless :(

We have only Realms and Kingdoms. The realm names are displayed above the towns.

Larger areas like Budapest will be named after the citiesWhy didn’t anybody tell me that I misunderstood Frujin’s words? I should have spent my time better than researching all those names :(
