Well, Baudelaire translated E.A.Poe in French
and the same did Milan Kundera with books of Franz Kafka
that means Xuca is right :hello:
btw, Dobber, Paul Verlaine and Arthur Rimbaud were lovers
Sorry, I was away for the last few days.
Which of these words means (or meant) black in Serbian:
A)Crna
B)Čarna
C)Vrana
D)Kara
I don't want to tip coz I speak slavic language and so am in big advantage...
Still, not all these words are Slavic. Dobber's answer is wrong.

B)Čarna.....
This is another of those tough questions, both answers are wrong.
That only leaves D) (or perhaps there is more than one correct or none correct)

Xuca, are you sure? Kara is black, yes, but I thought it's on some of the Turkic languages, like f.e. Karaman (black-headed) etc. On the other hand, wasn't Kusturica's movie "Crna machka..." as in "Black cat, white cat"? Well, anyway, at least I'm sure that crven(a) means red, as in Crvena Zvezda!.
Oh, and I think we used Vrana for black as well, although now it's mostly for "crow, raven"...
Was that an answer, Traveller? If yes, both you and Dobber are wrong.
oh, I forgot that also Vrana is black (black horse in czech is called vraník=vraný kůň=black horse)
so Crna and Vrana

No, it wasn't an answer. I don't have enough free time to visit and play in the Colosseum.
I choose A), B) C) and D)
