obviously its partly A and B , because achilles was helped by a god lureing out hector

cause achilles was a greek hero favored by zeus one of the three major gods and ruler of olympia , in the movie troy hector is quite heroic but in the story written by the greek poet homer ( no not homer simpson :smile:) - hector of troy was foolish and quite a coward . the orginal story is- achilles cousin stole achilles armour ,shield and weapon , ( it was smithed by a god i dont know hes name starts with H) achilles cousin was among those who advanced further into the battle, suddenly he saw hector on his chariot , he threw achilles spear but unfortunely it hit the chariot driver who was a close friend to hector , a wild fight between hector and achilles cousin broke loose on the drivers body(hector wanted to take it into the city and give it a proper funeral while achilles cousin wanted it as a trophy ) apollo ( the god of archery , poetri, music etc etc which the troyans worshiped ) he was among the troyan army disquized as a warrior , he convinced hector to leave the city and join the battle, he punched achilles cousin so all the armor fell off giveing hectors sword a free passage for a deadly strike , he killed achilles cousin which drove achilles into bezerker anger , hector didnt honor apollo for the deafeat of achilles cousin , but he took it as a sign of strength and he got encouraged ,because of that apollo no longer supported hector and the troyan armies. now when apollo is out of the way zeus and the supporting gods to greece , lured hector out to fight the duel with achilles , he got killed easily . but really all these mythic storys are only kid tails made up by homer . lol i know this is much uneccery writeing but i just had to tell this so people dont mix the movie as the story.

Minerva helped him not Zeus:) Hector got warned by the Gods if he fased Achilles he would be killed so he fighted only when Achilles wasnt present so you really cant him call a coward or fool... he was pretty good in strategy overall...

It is Achilles that need some angermanagement lol he challenged Apollo for helping Hector against his cousin and the kings of Greece and all

well i see you share an intresets to greek mythlogi :smile: , did you know that achilles equipment( armour , helmet , sword , spear ,shield was smithed by the god of smithing and metalworking hephaestus ) so it was quite impossabile to penetrate him with anything , hahahaha something that made me laugh my *** of was , when achilles and his soldiers brought back hectors body for an honorabile funeral , prince paris suddenly took a bow and pepperd achilles with arrows , and they also said apollo guided them into achilles foot were hes most vunrable. hahaha another funny fact was , when achillles died ajax and odysseus competed for achilles armour , odysseus won and ajax got mad , he swore a revenge on greece , he killed cattle seeing them as his former comrades in the siege of troy :lol: :lol: :lol:.

Achilles shield was said to be of 5 layers 2 bronze, 2 tin and 1 of gold the spears never could penatrate the gold part thats why no one could beat him in spear trowing :cool:
