Yes 6 it is, as largefry posted California, Alaska, Hawaii, Washington(state) and Oregon, and the sixth is Nevada(although Nevada is east of California, the way California curves back below Nevada, Carson City ends up being west of Los Angeles).

Well... 1), 2) and 4) are Star Trek Actors. I´m not sure about Alan Alda, but Marina Sirtis was just "Counselor" on USS Enterprise D and E. Does this count as a "doctor"?
