And because of the rules I can't pick D now...
As for Elvains question: I go with B) Ibn Khaldoun - Avecaldun. Why? I don't know. Looks made up to me.

B) African or European sounds logical.
Correct.
And what happened to the Muslim philosophers?
the question was not official (ws too late)
I made up Ibn Khaloun's "latin name" so you were right.
Maybe take the turn, as Largefry doesn't seem to ask the question?
Thanks, I was just curious about the answer.
I don't have a question right now and in the rules it says that the next question must be posted within 24 hours.
So, if anybody has a question... Go ahead.

Not according to the two sources that I have. B is not the father of history.

most of historians say it's the other

D) Herodotus
I only know Thucydides and him.
It's right.
I gues that Livy is Livius who also was one of the greatest ancient historians. Anyway a roman historian can't be a father of history when there were Greeks before him :go:
Herodotus is the one who's mostly respected as the father of history :go:

no, Theodosius was already a "born" Christ....He lived in the late 4th century, therefore after Constantine...
Actually he even was the one who made Christianity the one and only religion of the roman state...

I knew he was somehow connected with christianity. I thought he was the last who tried to eliminate them, but it was Diocletian, right? I should look on roman history again, I'm forgetting too much :bash:
