Was ancient Germania any sort of a state? I guess not. Can Empire of Franks be thought as Germany? I guess it can(1). Empire of Eastern Franks for sure(2). "Holy Roman Empire"(with all it's changes since 962 to 1806)-(3). "Comonwealth"(not sure about wellness of comonwealth) of Rhine (4-"Napoleonic Germany" 1806-1815), Commonwealth of Germany (5 - 1815-1871), German Empire (6 - 1871-1918 ) Weimar republic (7 - 1919-1933), 3rd Reich (8 - 1933-1945), Federal republic of Germany (9 - ?1949?-1989), Federal republic of Germany II. (10 - 1989-today). Missing period between 1945 and 1949? are ocupation zones what is IMO no state status of Germany

As you posed the question I guess it's your answer that is right, but don't give that answer in a test...cos it's WRONG historically.

And in Empires-Dawn of the Modern World was a whole campaign with this guy!
And I saw a film about him once!
So PC-games and films are better than history-lessons in school :p
