hawks log:
When the enemy army on the hill was fleeing of the field to the moutains. I orderd my army to march to the enemy army outside the city and attack them heavy from the flank. I have sended second messengers to dobber, and angry about richard and that i am going to take care of the heavy roman troops outside the city with my main army. And that a detachment of heavy cav is going to aid angryminer in battle which is leaded by one of my trusted commander.
but now i must march to those dame romans.
after 40min of maching i came behind the roman army which where suprised to see that an army had gotten behind tem so they quickly reformed there line . I orderd my infrantry to form a line and i station on each flank 4 squads of cav to pretect the flanks while 2 sqauds of cav stay behind the line to take care of any breaches in the line. I orderd my archers to form line infront of the infrantry.
after some min the men gotten into position I rode to the front line and yelld Archers make ready *archers graps there arrows* take aim *bows went up* FIRE!! *thousands of arrows went up in the air streaming down on the roman cav and infrantry make much death in the army of the romans.*
The roman ary there couldt shoot back as they had no archers with them as they thought they would be save as they thougt king hawk was being busy on the hill fighting one of there armies.
After some min of shooting I dismounted and grasp my sword and yelled men the army infront of us are a buch of low life scum. Now CHarge at them and let show them HOW MEN OF MITHRILL FIGHT *loud yells from the men* And lets stand up t the words of richard which where CONQUER YOUR FEAR AND YOU SHALL CONQUER DEATH. Now Chargeeee i runnend with my sword and shield towards the enemy.
*before the charge i orderd remaning cav to flank the romans from 2 sides when we had engaged in battle* and then we clashed with the enemy in one giant blow I killed many men in the mid of battle.

Angryminer's Tale
Continuing the unwritten chapters
Angryminer had been involved in this battle since the morning hours now. That was when the Romans started to destroy the southern gate. Since then he was moving, organizing, rallying and commanding.
Now he wasn't. He was standing on a hilltop, just east of the city walls, - being the westmost of all commanders - looking over the slaugtering that he had been taking part in earlier and that was now raging on under his eyes. His troops fought well. After all, it was all the infantry he had at his disposal, and they were fighting the Roman reserve and auxiliary troops. He had brought 25 thousand soldiers, light and medium troops, and put them against 50 thousand Roman troops, only lightly armored. It was a gruesome slaughter, but it was the best he could do.
Angryminer wasn't fighting. He was waiting. His determination pushed him to move, but on the other side of the hill reinforcements were marching towards him, so he needed to wait. Dobber had sent footsoldiers, and from the far east of the battlefield cavalry was advancing quickly.
The Romans were waiting too. They were waiting for the troops of this section to exhaust each other. The Romans had been putting their strong forces, heavy cavalry and infantry, into positions since they moved them out of the city - but they didn't strike yet. They were waiting until their charge would meet minimum resistance.
So Angryminer was waiting. Waiting for reinforcements to arrive, waiting for the Romans to start the final hours of the battle, waiting to engage in the battle again, waiting to meet victory or defeat, but honor for sure.
To be continued.
Sounds a bit cheesy, but remember that my character isn't a high born lord, but former guard and mercenary.
Angryminer
hawk_knight, have you missed my last couple of installments? I have already dispatched all my troops to help in other places on the battlefield, I placed them under command of the Captain of each squad and told them who to report to after the battle is over, and I have ridden to Xuca's observation post, met with him and currently am searching for Ainvar. I am not in a postition to command troops at this time, I don't have any with me, they are engaged in battle helping on all fronts.
Dobber's Log - Still July 10
The time has come to enter the actual fray!
I order the men to charge the enemy positions, I gave the individual platoon commanders of the men form Mithdrill the option to help in the fight wherever they saw they were needed, to reinforce the armies of Angryminer and Traveller, or to fight their way toward helping hawk_knight elsewhere on the field. I also commanded the commanders of the 25,000 inherited from the knightly sword to reinforce the armies of Angryminer and gave them documents placing them under the command of Angryminer. I ordered hawk_knight's platoon commanders to return to hawk_knight after the battle was over. I ordered Xuca's commanders to help Traveller and Angryminer and to return to Xuca following the battle. After dispatching the troops, I turned my horse and rode toward the rise where Xuca was observing the battle, I wanted to see how he was healing, and see to it that the Druid healer was taking care of his wounds. The allied forces will need him healthy for their march on Constantinople! I also desire to talk with Ainvar and see if there is any further Druidical aid they can summon to help the troops. Maybe later I will join in the bloodshed on the field behind me!
Dobber's Log
I met with Xuca overlooking the battle raging below, there was total chaos and the roar of battle was deafeningas it echoed about. It appeared our forces had the upper hand at the moment. The Captains I had set in charge of the troops seemed to be handling their duties well.
Xuca told me his wounds were healing nicely, but his strenght was slow in returning and that he longed to be on the battlefield, but he just was not strong enough. After speaking for a few minutes Xuca pointed out the direction of Ainvar and the Druids, just over a ways in a grove of trees.
I took leave of Xuca and headed for the grove in search of Ainvar, to see if there was some other assistance they could conjur with their chants and rituals.

A double? Did an ex walk in with another man?
Luke Bryan - All My Friends Say
I got smoke in my hair
My clothes thrown everywhere
Woke up in my rocking chair
Holding a beer in my hand
Sporting a neon tan
My stereo cranked up
I can't find my truck
How'd I get home from the club
Ain't got a clue what went down
So I started calling around
And all my friends say
I started shooting doubles
When you walked in
All my friends say
I went a little crazy
Seeing you with him
You know I don't remember a thing
But they say I sure was raising some cain
I was a rock star, party hard,
Getting over you comeback kid
Yay I must have did
What all my friends say
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
I found my billfold
I cried oh no no
Good time Charlie got me now I'm broke
But it was worth acting like a fool
Yeah girl I must have really showed you
Cause all my friends say
I started shooting doubles
When you walked in
All my friends say
I went a little crazy
Seeing you with him
You know I don't remember a thing
But they say I sure was raising some cain
I was a rock star, party hard,
Getting over you comeback kid
Yay I must have did
What all my friends say
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah
I was Elvis rocking on the bar
Working the crowd pouring out my heart
And all my friends say
I started shooting doubles
When you walked in
All my friends say
I went a little crazy
Seeing you with him
You know I don't remember a thing
But they say I sure was raising some cain
I was a rock star, party hard,
Getting over you comeback kid
Yay I must have did
What all my friends say
Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

Oh, I'm sorry! I was here yesterday but people have been helping themselves to drinks and I thought that's what you and Dobber did.
And you didn't say what you wanted. Here, have Dobber's favorite spiced rum and cola! Enjoy!
Nothing to appologize for...
I didn't know about the 'self serve' rule...
Thanks for the drink - excellent choice and just right...:go:
*flips a bill into the tip bowl on the way out*
I knew people had been helping themselves, but I'm old-fashioned and wait for the bartender!
Besides I might spill the ingredients trying to make the drink!
