and btw here is a next part of my log ;)

hawk's log date: unknown......

battle continues

While fighting I saw that my heavy cav charged right into the romans flanks and makig much damage to the morle of the enemy troops.
I yelld out loud *PUSH forward menn show them the steel of mithrill* My men where almost broken through the enemy ranks. the flanks of the romans where wide open and there cav was mostly dead and the remaining of them fled the field.

after 40min of further fighting

my men and I finnaly broke the roman lines. and crushing every roman soldier who tried to hold that back.
Then the remaing roman soldiers turned there backs and fled the field back to the castle to the other army there.
I orderd my men not to chase the enemy troops as we need to reform and get our wounded off the field and to the hospitals.
after 4 hours
I knew that i cannot be staying long here so i orderd my hospital to fall back when they can with all the wounded i left some guards with them to help them and protect them.

I orderd my troops to form up and march to the forest which was nearby the castle we will rest inside the forest for a bit before we move on.

Dobbers's Log - Still the day of the big battle!

After leaving Xuca at his observation post, I made my way to the Druids! Ainvar met me with a grim look on his face, it seems one of our Commander's has fallen in battle! As we talked he revealed that Richard was the Commander that had fallen before the enemy! He also said that the reason Richard had charged before it was time to move was forces were coming in from his flank and he had to act! So his charge was not a reckless charge, he was doing what became necessary and probably saved the rest of us from a surprise attack!
I could feel the anger rising within me, these bastards had killed a friend and fellow Commander! It was time to return to the field of battle and let my wrath be felt!
I jumped astride my mount and charged back to the battlefront! As my mount charged into the melee, I jumped from it's back with my sword at the ready. The first enemy I saw had his arm raised with a battle-axe ready to swing into me, I 2 handed my sword and swung with all my might and watched as the edge of my sword struck at the left shoulder and continued down and across severing the head and right arm from the body as blood gushed everywhere! I had the bloodlust now. My senses were enhanced and on edge, I could feel danger and turned with my sword toi thrust it into the abdomen of a charging enemy. They came then from all directions, I was doing the death dance, twisting, turning one way and then the other, my sword finding mark after mark. There was no time to plan and strategize moves, I now relied on my training and that battle sense that warned me of danger on every side. I always knew where the next attack was coming from. I made sure that each move placed me in position to counter the next poor soul that thought he was going to take me down. As I cut and slashed, arms and heads were flying through the air and blood was spilling from split bellies. I heard a scream from behind and turned in a crouch with my sword held upward, the scream was silenced as the sword pierced his throat severing his spine! I was a madman as I danced the dance of death and everywhere around me lay the bodies of my dance partners. Suddenly there was nobody near to feel the edge of my sword. What was left of the enemy was falling back, their ranks thinned, and I was standing amidst a bloody gory mess and then I felt blood running down my arms and noticed that I was covered by splattered blood. I suddenly felt tired and exhausted, it was time to find the other Commanders and assess the situation. I looked around for my horse and saw him a short distance away awaiting my call.

Okay, there is my latest entry!

Time for another drink!
