Hawk_knights log
july the 3rd
After the meeting we all headed out to our tents to get ready for the march.
When i was at my tent a commander came to me and said that our army is ready to march and is waiting to go.
I Told him to get sir Dobbber out of his tent and put him on the cart and put some 30 men as guards to protect him.
And i said to him that we will march in one hour.
I called some scouts to my tent i orderd them to move forward and to see if there are any ambushes ahead for of us.
After i had put my armour on i climbed on my horse and was ready to march and i was looking at the army when they where taking there positions to march.
I told the other commanders who where standing next to me that we would march in a formation which i had led my forces in to this place. Wich the horseman will be at front and in the back and infrantry on the right and left in the center will be the archers.
Then a messenger came to us from my scout with important news about the enemy. The messenger said that the arabic/roman froces whre combining in to one army and are readying them selfs at constantinopel. and that there army has more then 90000 men and still more troops are coming in from the country side. I told the commanders that our army must march quickly now because the enemy are preparing to fight us on an open field. I and the other commanders gave the army the signal to march. I told them also that we need to send a messenger towards traveller about the enemy army. But for now we much march to andriapole.
this would add something new to the story then just camping and marching  :go:

Adventures of Xuca
3rd july
Word came to me that Conquestare Legionare is under attack. An army of 1500 Byzantine horsemen sneaked past us, just to kill him. It appears that the Emperor wants him dead, because he deserted his armies. He also says a big part of his men were actually Emperor's agents. This could be another trick, but I'll go there with 300 horsemen (that's, btw, almost all horsemen I have, I don't know why does that riding pose such a problem for us...), and 2000 infrantrymen, and I'll ask my allies for some help, they'll hopefully send another 1000-2000 mounted units, preferably light cavlary, so that we can get there in time. If we manage to save him, I'll hire him, but he'll be under constant watch...
Knight Richard's adventure
Chap. 26: Last meeting and the march to Andrinople.
July 3, 1005, Noon
The meeting came and we discosed the last delays. Traveller showed us some maps of the region and maps of Andrinople, as he suspect we will encounter the city under siege when we arrive. Everythign seems great and we don't have to worry about a constant flow of supplies as the Tzar has agree to aid us with that plus Hawk knights caravan is on its way already.
As we were preparing to march south, a massanger came seeking Sir, or should I say King Xuca. After a little while Xuca came to me and Hawk knight. I couldn't understand him, but Sir Hawk translated and it seems that, the legioneries that had offer to become mercenaries of Xuca are under attack. It seem the Emperor wants all this "traitors" dead. He said he will go with 300-400 horsemen and he woudl appriciete it if we can go alone with soem more light men. I will ask Sir Hawk to put some 500 more light horse men under my command so i can aid Xuca and he accepted, but he was't sure if he could come alone as there are many preparations to be made . Now we are galoping through the country side, hoping to get ther before is too late. We should be there soon and then battle!
Sorry, was busy and couldn't think of anythign until now. Well I leave you xucan to make the battle up :)
Navatar's War journal
I lost 580 men, two sergeants and my only captain. I'm running out on men who keep the army ordely and alive! Although it seems that just my presence is enough, i cannot handle the army myself. Their is some able men left who i have been given command but they are inexperienced and I fear that they will die the next day.
It's been raining arrows and huge stones for many days now and they have breached the outer barricade and is now bombarding the inner wall. They have breached one section but we fought them back and now they have withdrawn from the wall...for awhile.
Every day, new troops joins their army and no news from the scottish yet. Maybe they are also under attack? No, the Welsh cannot have such big army to have assults on two sides. There is something else which stops them.
And if the situation wasn't bad enough, the food and ammo is running out. More than half of my army is injured and not many are without wounds. The morale is low and we are all tired. It looks grim.
If the scottish is able to join the battle in atleast a week maybe we will be able to survive. But anything later than a week will be the end of us.
If the battle comes inside the wall and in the castle I will fight them for all the strength i posses!
May the gods be with us.

Btw Richard. Why are you (and Elvain) angry at Sunflowers. What have they done now?
Ask Anglia for help
I tried but I cannot get a messenger out the city. It's quite packed with enemys .
(And that would ruin my ending of the battle )
Lol I'm just kiddign around. What wil lthe ending be? Oh i know Hawk's dragons  j/k
Nope, something more "realistic"
And i will not spill the beans yet, you know. Just wait and see, maybe you will be suprised.
Sounds interesting
Richard, you rushed with the battle a little. Now I must change the plan, but I'll think of something by tomorrow...
Opps. sry lol i can change it if you want?
No, that's okay, just say it took you a little more time (like three hours)

Uhmmm... Nice story-telling here guys, but I think you should consider it "out-of-story". Two reasons:
1. I can't be attacked in the same day I left. Even I'm only with horsemen, for one day I would still be deep in Bulgarian territory. That would mean that such a big (well, not exactly big for our standarts, but stull quite visible) enemy army has reached unnoticed into the very heart of Bulgaria, i.e. impossible.
2. Most of all - I think Kuno had something else in mind for my earlier departure to Adrianople and you should first ask him what he has planned. If you want to fight so much - go help, f.e., CL, who's being attacked by a smaller Byzantine army (plus maybe some of his own men; all in all not more than 5000 soldiers), because of his "treachoury" and turning to our side. Thus, he'll also be able to prove himself and his new loyalty to Xuca!
P.S. Yesterday we had a very bad system crash (stupid Windows! Bill Gates, if I find you, I'm gonna make you use your own buggy software until I give you a pleasant (at least better than the Win) death), so we had to reinstall WinXP and now my PC is "zero level", which means we'll have to find and install so many programs, patches, virus definitions, plug-ins and I don't know what else, that... Not to mention that due to the urgent reinstall everything on C: is erased, including my KoH save files (i.e. the end of my AAR)! I hope I'll have some more time to write tomorrow! Until then -!
I know what you mean, Traveller, the only thing that makes me keep Windows is because Linux doesn't support many games. It's like Windows is paying all the game makers to make games only for windows...
@Richard and Hawk Knight, maybe we should edit our logs to say that CL got attacked?
Well xuca you should make up the story then, your the one that knows CL, so the news most be for you. my log was edited
