Navatar's Journal
I woke up with a sudden rush through my body tonight and my heart beating rapidly. I wonder what caused it.
One hour later
Well, I can't seem to get some sleep tonight so I'll just work on some delayed paperwork then. Sigh.

A round of beer on the house for the thirsty bards and the tired listeners!

Thank you Angryminer and don't worry FH

What where the exams about, by the way?

Today was history exam and it was the last one of the "matura"-exams. (You can compare it with the "Abitur" in Germany or the end of high school in the US (but I guess the level is a bit higher than high school) you surely have the same in Sweden but I don't know the name.)

I see. I read about it on wikipedia after your post. We have roughly the same thing I can imagine. We call ours "Swedish Scholastic Aptitude Test" or in swedish; Högskoleprovet ( ) and it's a way to gain admission to higher education. Although any person with good enough grades at the end of Secondary School (Preparatory) can enter a university.

Oh darn it, i'm babbling
Who spiced my drink?!

Congrats again Kuno. Hope you'll get a good result on the exam!

Angryminer's Tale
Second part of chapter 28

I really only noticed how exhausted I was when I stopped fighting. Shortly after that said mithrill soldier appeared the roman lines became very thin and my men started driving the romans away. Once I realized that we had won I turned away from the battle, feeling I should organize the remaining troops. Still exhausted and dazed from the battle I rode over a scene that didn't seem real. What was a green valley a day ago was covered in dead and mourning soldiers now as if the gates of hell had opened. The sight was horrible.
Trying to focus on something different I searched for my officers to send them out to gather my troops. During that I came across Kuno and Dobber. They didn't recognize me at first - I must have been a dreadful sight after such a battle - until I opened the visor of my helmet. I merely managed to say "Sire Dobber - Sire Gersenau" ...But who would have been in the condition for many words after such an experience? Only after a while we started discussing what had happened.

Until late evening all commanders gathered in the citadell of Adrianople. The city had taken considerable damage from the fighting in the town even though the romans were in the city only for a few of hours - but there was enough fighting to cause havoc.
At that time the allied army was still gathering outside the towngates. By dusk however most of the remaining troops should have arrived, since no enemy can be chased in the dark.
It is late now and I am very exhausted, but my mind is still at unrest and I don't want to sleep yet. I will take a walk along the west side of the town now, because the battle was on the east side. Perhaps I'll write more about what happened later when I'm feeling better.

End of entry.

I wish to officially proclaim that herewith and with immediate effect I lay claim upon this mug of beer!
