I'm thirsty from my battles against the spam-gladiators in the Colosseum, Eric. May I please have a mug of your finest ale?

Just saw FrankishHero poke NaVatar and it was not a pretty sight!

*pokes Navatar*Freeze, evil villain! I am not so easily deceived! I know your wicked plans to steal Navatar's cows because secretly you love them and are just trying to cover that up! You have been caught, evil-doer!

And once again, Angryminer saves the day!
I drink a beer to that!

No, it's not cows that I love. But if I were to poke the person I love I would surely be sent to jail for sexual harassment.

Just remembered something.

Navatar's Travellog
The sea-journey went well, except for my wife having quite the streak of sea-sickness. She was a northern-bred woman and lived nowhere close to sea so it wasn't a surprise. Personally, i like the sea. I don't love it but it's very...peacefull to look over the endless sea and just hear the gentle waves dashing on the ship while the sun rise in the horizon. How my sons reacted on their first sea-voyage was quite surprising I must say. Daniel (the 'oldest' of the two) hated the sea and was very uncomfortable the whole time and almost never left our cabin. But Edmund absolutely loved the sea! He ran around the ship, asking me and the sailors questions, stared dreamy into the water, and looked in complete astonishment when agile sailors climbed around the sails and lowered, or rose, them. He even tried to climb the sails once but slipped and fell into the water. Luckily, a sailor saw him fall over-board and quickly dove in and saved him. I couldn't help to laugh when Edmund walked into the cabin soaking wet and with a embarresed look on his face. My wife reprimanded him for being such careless (and ofcourse me to for not looking after Edmund)
Overall, it was a pleasant sea-trip. Now we are travelling by horse and carriage with a armed convoy of twelve men, riding towards the capital.

************************************************** **

It's the long expected French-zideplot! Or...something like that.

I'm thorn about it. I have thought of two different ways on evolving it and have no clue which way I should choose as I think their are equally "exciting" for me (and hopefully you tavern-folks) while we're waiting for the main-story to go on down south. So now, dear tavern-whenches. Should I ask your opinion on whatever way I should continue (and therefore spoiling the surprise) ? Or should I just pick randomly? Does anyone care?

A mug of mead for poor me!

I'd go with keeping the surprise and letting you decide. :go:

Anybody, ever figure out what happened to the occupants of the carriage that was found abandoned outside?

FrankishHero

They drove off in it.

NaVatar

Yup, right after I had beaten the living geejeepers out of them and I got my shiny new hat....oh darn, should'nt have said that..

Hey Eric! What did you put in this mead?!

Dobber

Who hitched the team back up for them? Robin put the team in the stable out back, NaVatar just confessed to beating the crap out of them, so they would have been unable to hook up the team.
And don't anyone let NaVatar leave without answering a few questions.

Hmm . . . Here are the notes I have complied on this subject:

On 04-01-2007, at 14:28, it was noted by Dobber that a carriage was parked outside of the Tavern. The bartender (Prince Eric of the Lorah Clan) was questioned as to the identities of the carriage's occupants. Prince Eric denied any knowledge of the carriage or the identities of its occupants. Later that evening, at 18:44, Dobber stated that the carriage was quite extravagant, as well as empty! He asked if a search should be started for the occpants. Suspicious behavior was noted in a man with a wooden leg.

On 05-01-2007, Dobber reported that he and several other customers had gone out and investigated the carriage, and had found not only vacency, but several drops of blood on the floor.

On 18-01-2007, Two weeks after the carriage had been sighted, the comment was made by Dobber that something should be done with the team of horses, who were still harnessed to the carriage. He again raised an inquiry as to the whereabouts of the owners.

On 20-01-2007, I unhitched the team, stabled them in the stalls behind the Tavern, and moved the carriage out of the way, by the woodpile outside the kitchen. I commented that we do have a Lost and Found Department for missing/found persons/things. However, nothing has been reported found or missing at the Lost and Found Department since 16-11-2006.

Today, 05-02-2007 at 12:04, Dobber inquired again as to the possible whereabouts of the carriage's occupants. FrankishHero said that "they drove off in it [sic]." NaVatar agreed with FrankishHero, then claimed responsibility for assault and grand larceny.

I don't know . . . . Is NaVatar admitting this out of a guilty conscience, or is it just the mead talking? Dobber, what's your take?

Dobber
06-02-2007, 02:46
Well, NaVatar is the man with the wooden leg, that was acting suspicious early on, so whether it is the mead talking or otherwise I feel that he knows something whether he actually did anything or not!

I need another bottle of Spiced Rum, this could take a while!

*hands Dobber his drink* Is NaVatar around here, or did he slip out?

FrankishHero

He mumbled something about hiding some bodies.
