Hey, guys! I'm back again for a short time! How's it going? I see that again there isn't much life here. Maybe I shouldn't have come back and there would be more life... Anyway, since I'm here, Eric, could you give me a quick beer? And, of course, a round of beer for everyone on me!

Dobber starts to slowly speak, for he has reached into the recesses of his brain to recall some of the Old Guard that is still around that was not quite as active as others back in the day!

I recall Tzar Ivan Assen II, he is still around and W-O-D still visits from time to time. Sverrir, Lord Hamann, rmhainlen, Lighthope and Siegebreaker. That just about sums up the ranks of the Old Guard that are still around. As you can see a very small contingent. When we are gone who will be left to remember the days of the Old Guard?

Dobber grows silent once again as his thoughts turn to those that have fallen, those that have departed.

Navatar sits back and let Dobbers little history lesson sink in. But then opens his eyes and say "You forgot TheKnightlySword!" then sinks back into his armchair and drinks some beer

Am I right? Or wasn't he an Old Guard?

Navatar, I have not forgotten "the knightly sword", I haven't gotten around to talking about him yet. I had my thoughts of the departed redirected to thoughts of those still with us. Although he has popped in once or twice, I have him in the departed pool. I am preparing to continue with the departed very soon.

I am trying to decide if I should extend the time period to qualify as Old Guard as well to first 12 months, or keeping it at the first 10 months as I currently have done. As of right now I have limited Old Guard membership to those that joined prior to August 01, 2004. Should I extend that to October 01, 2004, to make it Old Guard entire 1st year membership, with limitations of course, 0 post count would not qualify as Old Guard, actually under say 9-10 posts would not either unless you had made yourself very memorable.

A familiar face enters the inn. Strolling towards the bar, he suddenly notices Dobber, Hawk Knight and NaVatar who are chatting about old guards...he comes to sit by them after collecting a drink from Eric and says hello to his old friends. Frankish has returned.

Navatar just waked up after being fast asleep and jumped a bit and spilled his beer when Frankish suddenly was sitting infront of him. Greeted Frankish, then went to the bar for a refill.

Frankish wonders what has become of the tale of himself and the others in Bulgaria...

Sire Dobber killed Sakim, and later died from the wounds he received in the fight. Sir Richard was killed in a battle while enroute with a small party of men to meet up with Traveller. Navatar never made it to Bulgaria, he is still trying to quell trouble in Mercia. Traveller's PC monitor went kaputz and he seldom gets to visit now. And everyone else just quit yarning.

I expected TKS and HappyAdolf would stop by the Tavern while they were in town but they didn't I guess.

Well, another day perhaps.
Eric, how's about with a coffee to such an early time? Oh, I don't want to wake Eric up. *serves himself a coffee*
Good morning  .

Frankish throws a log in the fire, but realises too late that it was actually NaVatar wooden leg he threw...oops.

Looks at Frankish with sad(slightly dozzy) eyes....before throwing his collection of voodo-dolls in the fire. Several people fells down, whriting in pain for some reason...

Is there anyone who feels like continue with the story? Or do I have to make up some more?
