Ok, but I don't really know how to transfer all my money to Angry! Maybe we would have to go to the Constantinople bank? Or to the closer Adrianople one?

July 5 - Dobber's Log

*Entry made by attendant*

Sire dobber has continued his tossing and turning for another 2 days, crying out in awful agonizing screams! Calling over and over the name Sakim. What torture his mind must be receiving. Oh no another bout, a blood curdling scream, the worst yet, I must check in on him.

As I reach the bedside I turn and run to find a commander, Sire Dobber's eyes are wide open staring straight in front of him and they are full of fear!

Dobber arises from his barstool, wipes the dust from the top of his head, looks around and finds noone to talk to, sits back down and wonders when the bartender is going to arrive and pour him a drink. The peanut bowl is empty as well, and his stomach is growling. Been sitting on the stool 6 days and noone has ventured by, not even the bartender! Maybe the joint is closed, but there was no closed sign on the door.

Looks as though you have been travelling, I hope your throat is not parched, you are the first person I have seen in 6 days! Everyone must have left for Italy to watch the Winter Games!

Ohhh, so now you complain that noone has been in the Tavern the recent weeks/months Dobber.

*Wakes up from under the bar and let out a big yawn and scratches my head. Only Dobber and Traveller is here so I sit with them and join them in their exciting 'wait for the bartender' game*

The Irish!?
I was expecting rebels or anything of some sort but I didn't expect (or knew) that the Irish had a grudge on the Welsh and would even siege them. This sets me and Edward in a sticky situation. Neither of us have had any connections with the Irish nations so we don't know if we dare to advance to the castle. They might think we are welish reinforcments of some kind. Athough we have a larger army then them it will cause serious casualties anywho.

I have voluenterd(!) to ride forward to speak with the Irish. Edward first gave me problem by argueing but after I let him send two highlanders with me he settled down.
I'm very close to the western Irish camp and I can see torches and hear commanders shouting commands. We have lite a torch and raised a white flag to alert them of our presence. Hopefully they will not start to shot at us because i'm extremely tired on being shot at.

Now then. I done my part for the week.

How's the sitrep in you're story then?

Well, personally I am waiting for Kuno to give me a clue for the progress of events he had in mind...

I don't have a clue what i should write about for the story

Does someone has an suggestion or an idea ?:go:

Hmm... Well, your part of the story (and that of your whole group) is somewhat limited, because I and Kuno are ahead on the same road and if you catch up to us, it would get a little messy. Maybe you could write for the progress of the march to Adrianople, something exterior/free writing. Or you might also find the remains of the "battle" with the Varangians (where I met Kuno), but then you would have to note how much time did I need to reach this place and then increase it (I'm scouting with horsemen, while you're with an enormous (thus slow) army). But you would also have to consider that Richard already placed a date for the battle in Adrianople, so...

July 5 - Dobbers Log

Attendants entry

When the Commanders and I returned Sire Dobber was still staring straight ahead with that look of horror on his face. Upon closer examination we discovered that he was not breathing and had no pulse. We decided to carry him with us to Adrianople so his Mercian friends could give him a formal Generals burial.

Last entry to Dobbers Log.

It was fun while it lasted, but it seems the story has lost the interest of even the storytellers, Thank you all for allowing me to be a part of it!

Dobber arises from his stool takes a bow and sits back down and orders a round for the whole house.

So we need a necromancer now? Dobber, I know you like to die often in this story, but let's postpone it a littlle, huh? Most people stopped writing I believe (and hope) mainly because of school/uni/work/i.e. too busy. But we're continuing. If I have to, I'll finish the story myself! It's not that hard - we're so close to the end that leaving now is stupid at the least!

If the story dies out, remember you guys and gals can always stop by for a drink and some small talk. Come again and come often!

"Time for a little shuteye", Dobber grabs a broom, sweeps the dust from a spot near the hearth, curls up with his cloak draped across him and goes to sleep! Maybe the guys won't be to loud and rowdy tonight.

Dobber slowly lifts himself off the floor, stretching the kinks out as he does and thinking he is getting to old to sleep on hard floors.

Does anybody know if they serve anything to eat in this Tavern, other than the beernuts, pretzels and chips? I am very hungry.
