I have gone back and looked, it appears I have the 25,000 troops that were at one time the knightly swords, he gave me command of them on his death bed. I also at one time had command of 10,000 mounted troops from hawk_knight, this was prior to my death and resuscitation! I do not know who has command of Xuca's troops, he has taken a position of observer because of injuries.
I guess I have 25,000 infantry, do I still have hawk_knight's 10,000 cavalry?

Didn't you arrive with the bulgarian troops (+Traveller, Hawk and Richard) in the last minute while I and Kuno escaped from Adrianople and didn't we split the troops about even? (With a lot more cavalry under Hawk Knights command, my heavy infantry from the way from Mercia in my part, etc.)

That is just how I understood it...

I have not met with you since arriving, the bulk of the reinforcements(ground troops) arrived after the battle was underway! We did not arrive until noon, we could see the battle before us from a rise overlooking Adrianople. We immediately went to take up positions to cover the approach to you the defenders who were now outside the city of Adrianople. hawk_knight had travelled ahead with his cavalry, so I guess I am in command of the 25,000 infantry I inherited from tks, and hawk_knight's infantry that arrived with us and Xuca's troops(because he is unable to lead them into battle), I am guessing I have about 130,000-140,000 troops under my command?

 Didn't Traveller and hawk_knight meet you inside the city, via the tunnel?

I am about ready to just tell them to charge and hack the hell out of everything coming toward them and then, to return to their former commander or go home, either one after the battle, that it don't matter to me!

Dobber's Log - Still July 10

The time has come to enter the actual fray!
I order the men to charge the enemy positions, I gave the individual platoon commanders of the men form Mithdrill the option to help in the fight wherever they saw they were needed, to reinforce the armies of Angryminer and Traveller, or to fight their way toward helping hawk_knight elsewhere on the field. I also commanded the commanders of the 25,000 inherited from the knightly sword to reinforce the armies of Angryminer and gave them documents placing them under the command of Angryminer. I ordered hawk_knight's platoon commanders to return to hawk_knight after the battle was over. I ordered Xuca's commanders to help Traveller and Angryminer and to return to Xuca following the battle. After dispatching the troops, I turned my horse and rode toward the rise where Xuca was observing the battle, I wanted to see how he was healing, and see to it that the Druid healer was taking care of his wounds. The allied forces will need him healthy for their march on Constantinople! I also desire to talk with Ainvar and see if there is any further Druidical aid they can summon to help the troops. Maybe later I will join in the bloodshed on the field behind me!

Eric, another spiced rum, please!

I'll give everyone one or two days time to write all story-parts that should be entered before I start the final hours of the battle. Perhaps someone planned a twist to the story I didn't yet consider.

And Eric, you've got to explain something to me. Two hours ago there was a bottle of wine standing left of my laptop. Now there's an empty bottle of wine. Where is the wine gone?
Maybe I just like Pinot Grigio too much...
How about a new bottle of white wine for me? Anything you recommend? A good pinot blanc perhaps?
