Hey, you three, go out and see if you can find the Angryminer! Upon finding him, drag him back here and we will threaten to cut off his fingers one by one until he makes his contribution to the story!

Afraid of getting a whomp up side of the head Robin?

I just know that whatever I do to wake you up, you'll do the exact same thing to me when I take a nap; I really don't want to get woken up by a ringing cow bell accompanied with a bucket of ice cold water followed by half a sack of flour.

And besides, I like my C-spine just the way it is, thank you.

where just got above the hill. Where we sawthousads of enemymen fighting a small portioj of our men.
I when i looked beside me i saw some faces of the men ready for battle.
I said to them men the time has come to fight. Les uss help our troops down there
Then i sounded the horn of mithdrill wich is the signal to chare the enemy witheverything we got.
I did not sounded the horn of mithrill since the last battle against the normans i said to my trusted commander to take the heavy infrantrie and attack them from the right flank as i will be sweeping the enemy from the right flank with my heavy cav leaded by me into battle.
When i sounded the horn man enemy soldier looked above there soldiers and saw the mighty army orf mithril with its flags and banners up i nthe air and ready for battle.
before the enemy could organize there men i yelled as loud as i can CHARGE for death and GLORYYY!!!!!!!.

as we charged down the hill under heavy yelling we reached the enemy close inoff to fight them with the sword.
They enemy was suprised about our cav charge to there flank. But the enemy got more confused when my heavy infrantry charged them from the other flank
and cuting there escape route. so now there must fight there way out or die trying.

Hi Eric,
Dobber mentioned that this might be the place for drinks!

In that case, I would like to get a dry Whisky!

Beside that, if Dobber stops by the next time, serve him something on my bill. Not his usually milk, of course. A Whisky or a Screaming Orgasm as starter would be perfect.

No?
Oh well then, back to sleep then.

Angryminer's Tale
Another chapter that wasn't written down.

Angryminer had started the attack on the enemies and the moment his troops reached skirmishing distance the battle had begun. The skirmishing, usually exchanging of arrows between the two armies for a while, didn't last long though because Angryminer wanted to press the battle forwards to strike before the Byzantine heavy troops from within the city had reached the front lines.
Very soon the heavy armed infantry under Angryminer's command was forming a line in front of the light infantry, together with Angryminer himself, because he was riding on a horse among his men with a few bulgarian knights and a high waving flag so everyone noticed his presence. When the infantry began marching forwards the Byzantines reacted by withdrawing their archers behind the lines of light infantry. The byzantine armored troops weren't ready yet, so everything worked out as as he planned.
The men were told not to charge yet. Keep together, march steadily. The tension at the battlefield was imense - just minutes before the opening slaughter. 200 meters, 150 meters, still not charging, 100 meters, 75 meters, and suddenly, at an arm's raise of Angryminer several horns sounded and all the tension was released in a battlecry of thousands of men, running towards the enemies who began charging themselves until the lines clashed upon another. 20 thousand men were now fighting, slaughtering.
Angryminer rode among them. In the middle of the slaughter. Around this part of the battlefield the Byzantines only had light infantry which was of no danger to him, so he could ride over the battlefield and support his men morally. Wherever he appeared he had little to fight, because as soon as the men saw him the enemies around him were cut down by the hands of the motivated soldiers. It was a brutal and fierce battle.
But the battle was going well in this initial stage. His men were better equipped than the byzantine reserve troops and because of that also morally superior. The Byzantines had immense losses at this part of the battlefield. But that was necessary, the Byzantines were preparing their armed troops already.
One time when Angryminer left the fighting lines to get a better overview a messanger on a horse approached him. The messanger was send from a rearward position, where sharp eyed officers were watching the battlefield in Angryminer's place. He recieved three notes. The first note was about the situation at the east flank. For some reason the east flank was in disorder. Only now Angryminer watched and saw for himself, that there was no organized battleline in the distance. But he couldn't care about it as there was nothing he could do about it. He just hoped that Richard and Hawk Knight would manage it well. The second note was more important to him. A byzantine dispatchment in the north-west had come around the city and was now moving southwards along the city walls towards Angryminer's current position. Angryminer quickly rode to the nearest hilltop, just a few hundret meters away, to see for himself.
The byzantine dispatchment was within archery range of Dobbers troops. They would be trapped inside the allied army if they attacked Angryminer's troops from the rear. Also Angryminer's cavalry was still waiting east of his archers. It would be able to drive away the byzantine dispatchment, although he wanted to keep the cavalry fresh until later in the battle. Angryminer expected that Dobber would engage them and drive them away. He would still have to keep an eye on it.
The third note informed Angryminer about the byzantine armored troops. A sizeable heavy infantry and cavalry dispatchment was moving westwards from the southern city gate along the battle line. Angryminer guess that they were going to attack somewhere along Traveller's section of the battlefield. They didn't know that the allied troops were commanded by several men and thus very evenly spread. They were propably aiming to attack at two places simultaneously. But Angryminer had too few armored infantry to counter them. That's what he wanted to safe the cavalry for. But one dispatchment of cavalry can't defend against two enemy dispatchments. Angryminer told the messanger to ride straight towards Traveller and inform him about that byzantine dispatchment. He should tell Traveller to assist Angryminer against that dispatchment if they attack at Angryminer's section, because otherwise his section might fail.
Now Angryminer rode towards the command post where the notes came from. He needed to get an overview and react to the changes on the battlefield more quickly.
End of this Chapter

@Dobber: I hope I understood your entry right and reacted correctly to the byzantine dispatchment in the rear of my troops.

Now I'm thirsty!
